What is the exact address?

Where can I park?
There is a dedicated parking lot off Delaware St. Park in spot #10. This is dedicated to the apartment. No
one else besides occupants of this apartment are to park in this spot. Click here
and scroll to bottom to see an overhead view of where to find spot #10.
I'm here for the first time, how do I get in?
Please let me know an approximate time you'll be arriving. I will send you the unlock code for the front door via the Airbnb app.
I made it in the apartment! What do I need to know?
Welcome! First thing: I would appreciate it if you were to remove your shoes while in the apartment. There is a spot for your shoes or boots by the front door.
Your privacy is assured! I do NOT have any surveillance devices such as webcams, security cameras, Ring doorbell cams, audio recording devices, Alexa or other smart speakers in the home.
Beyond that, take a look around :)
The decor in here is great! Who put it all together?
Myself along with the help of the design services of Sweet 504 in Camp Hill, right across the river.
It's too cold in here (or too hot), what can I do?
There is a single Nest thermostat for the entire apartment in the living room. Feel free to adjust up or down as needed. Note the thermostat is restricted to a maximum and minimum temperature, usually 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Please contact me if you feel the termostat needs adjusted outside that range.
If you're going to be gone for a while, I ask that you turn them off or turn the temp up to 75 degrees (in summer) or 65 degrees (in winter) to save energy.
I'll die without internet. What can you do to help?
There is a dedicated cable modem with wifi in the unit. On your devices, connect as follows:
Wireless network name: Susquehanna24 or Susquehanna5 (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz respectively)
Password: HarrisburgLove
The download and upload speed is 50Mbps which should be sufficient for about 4-5 devices without too much trouble.
Fancy TV. Any details?
This is a Roku TV for streaming content from the internet. Also, there is an HD antenna attached to tune local channels. You may have to move the antenna closer to the window to get better reception.
Beyond that, feel free to download whatever channels you'd like on the Roku. You will need to provide your own credentials for any channel you download (e.g. Netflix, Amazon VOD, Hulu, Sling,
etc.).
Any recommendations on restaurants or things to do?
Be sure to check out the To Do page. I also try to leave a current copy of The Burg newspaper
which frequently has good info on restaurants and events. In the kitchen drawer are a bunch of brochures for area attractions.
There's food and drink in the refrigerator and cabinets. Is this for guests?
It is! Please feel free to help yourself to whatever you find. Try to be responsible and not overconsume :) Also, food and drink are only for consumption while you're a guest. In other words, please do not take items with you.
Where can I shop for some food?
Check the To Do page on this site to get a list of local markets and full service grocery stores in the area.
How else can I get around?
Fortunately Harrisburg is served by Uber and Lyft. Public transit is an option too, if not somewhat limited. Harrisburg has recently started a bike share which can be a good alternative. If going long distance, Harrisburg is served by Amtrak leaving every hour or so heading east to Lancaster, Philadephia, and NYC. One train per day leaves going west towards State College and Pittsburgh.
Ouch! I hurt myself! What can I do?
If it's not too bad, I have a first aid kit under the bathroom sink. If it's bad, call 911, you maniac! In any case, please let me know if you had to use the First Aid kit for any reason. I want to
make sure everything in the unit is safe and sound for you and any future guests.
Oh no, something caught on fire! What should I do to put it out?
There is a fire extinguisher in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. But if things are bad, don't be a hero, call 911 and get out!
What's the laundry situation?
There is a full size washer and dryer unit on the second floor for your use.
Can I smoke or vape anywhere in the building?
NO! You'll be in big trouble. You can do so out on one of the porches.
What happens if I take anything from this place when I leave?
Well, if you didn't bring it in with you, it needs to stay. That includes all the linens and kitchen supplies. Anything found to be missing you will be charged for at a much higher cost than it would
be to simply replace it.
It's time to leave, how do I check out?
Let me know your departure time via the Airbnb app. I'm generally flexible on check out time as long as there are no guests due in on your departure day. Let me know if you need an exception.
Otherwise check out time is 11am. Lock the front door as you head out using the same code that you used to unlock the door. Safe
travels!
If you're having trouble in any way, shape, or form, contact me immediately inside the Airbnb app!
